The biggest threat to leather shoes is getting them wet and drying them repeatedly. When your shoes get wet, you should never accelerate the drying process and instead allow them to dry naturally. Never use hair dryers, shoe dryers or place on or next to a heat source. This will dry out the leather and leave it hard and brittle.

Instead, remove the insoles and place paper towels or newspaper inside and leave them in an open space at room temperature to dry. Once the shoes are dry, we recommend applying the appropriate moisturizer such as leather conditioner or leather dressing.

shoe care essentials

Foam Cleaner

Gentle foaming cleaner for surface dirt.

For all shoes, including leather, Clarino/microfiber, suede, and other synthetic materials.

Directions:

Use the preclean side of the brush to remove loose dust, dried mud, and clumped dirt. After removing loose dirt, apply the Foam Cleaner. Shake well and pump foam directly onto affected area. Using the same side of the brush, work the foam in a circular motion. Wipe clean using a microfiber towel or terry cloth. Allow the surface to dry completely.

For suede shoes only: Finish by using the suede side of the brush to loosen and raise nap.

Leather Conditioner

Conditions and restores smooth leathers, leaving them soft and supple.

For leather shoes only. Do not use on Clarino, microfiber, or suede.

Directions:

Shake well before use and wipe off surface with rag before applying. Using the lint-free cleaning cloth, rub well into leather. Allow to dry.

If not following up with the Leather Dressing and if preferred, polish using the polish side of the brush, and buff with a clean and dry cloth.

Leather Dressing

Naturally protects and preserves leather. Repels moisture, resists stains and acids, prevents cracking, and lets leather breathe.

For leather shoes only. Do not use on Clarino, microfiber, or suede.

Directions:

Leather should be clean and dry before beginning. Rub in well, especially at the seams and welt. Remove any excess product and dry at room temperature. Polish using the polish side of the brush, and buff with a clean and dry cloth.

lint-free cleaning cloth

Works as the perfect applicator for all products.

After each use rinse well with warm soapy water until surface dirt and soap are gone. Hang dry. Replace cloth as needed or once it starts to deteriorate.

For all shoes, including leather, Clarino/microfiber, suede, and other synthetic materials.
