CX402 REPLACEMENT HEEL PAD KIT

The replacement parts look identical to the originals on the shoes from new. However, removing the original heel pads was difficult, despite these being worn and partly detached from the shoes. A sharp knife was needed to carefully cut them away without damaging the carbon sole.
Fitting the replacement heel pads was simple enough, but the 3M adhesive sheets supplied did not securely stick the new rubber pads to the shoes. I eventually had to resort to using glue, and even this was only partially successful. My criticism is not so much of the replacement heel pad kit, but the design of the shoes, which have components subject to wear that are not easily replaced.
